LOVE GONE AWRY

Hello y’all, The past week has redefined crimes of passion in Uganda. Early this week we woke up to screaming headlines of a lover who’d murdered his “girlfriend” and stuffed her body in a septic tank. It was ghastly! I felt very bad for her parents, friends and workmates who’d last seen her alive a week before she disappeared. He body was nothing more than a greyish halloween-like costume. This morning we woke up to another screamer of a headline reporting on a man who’d stabbed his wife to death. There are many other similar stories all over the papers. A coupla months ago, a General was killed by his mistress in a gruesome way that is hard to describe. This leaves me wondering as to what has become of our society. We need serious prayers to survive this killing spree that is going on. The kids resumed school this week and my lil Andre is already complaining that he doesnt want to go back to school. I told him he has no option unless if he wants to become a thug at which point he conceded. Lincoln is already tired of homework and drives the mum nuts with his lack of concentration. She has to sit patiently till he completes his homework. Not an easy feat if you ask me. Sometime last year I made a deal with a certain person to do some work which involved lots of street smarts only for the fruits to bear and he handed me the short end of the stick. I am still recovering from the disappointment. As a matter of fact I need hospitalization to take in some faith. People in this world easily forget that there is always next time and that it is only fair to keep one’s end of the bargain. On a brighter note, though, 2010 is fast coming to an end. It is amazing how time flies. This year is set to be one of scandals; what with the likes of Tiger Woods, Jacob Zuma and John Terry not to mention the countless unknowns out there who make the aforementioned look like amateurs in the field of scandal. Cheers y’all, Deox
