FAKE PREGNANCIES
Hello folks,
These last few days have seen two women go back to their ‘husbands’ with dead bodies claiming that their newly born kids died in hospital. The first one was indeed interesting; the woman returned home with dolls whose eyes she’d plucked out and instead replaced with cotton which is normally put in dead people’s eye sockets for whatever reason. It was only discovered that they were mere dolls as they were about to be buried. She owned up and confessed to faking it. The latest news is that she has been sentenced to one year in prison after she pleaded guilty to whatever charges.
The second one is even more interesting. She is a 29 year old belle who has failed to conceive despite repeated efforts. As is the norm, the lady is normally the one to blame in this part of the world unless she can prove otherwise. In an effort to throw her man off balance, she left their ‘matrimonial’ home and only returned with a one day old corpse of a baby boy and dumped it at the guy’s residence. The guy went to Police to report this lady whom he’d never known to be pregnant had returned with a corpse claiming it was their dead child. She was promptly arrested and is now in the coolers doing her thing.I wonder where she got the dead body from and if the bona fide owners of the dead child are aware of the said body’s whereabouts. It is hard to figure out.
How the two ladies came up with the bizarre idea of lying to their men is a mystery only them can answer. I also wonder how the men could be duped especially the first one of twins, into believing that actually the woman was pregnant.
Friends often tell me that men are hard to come by these days and that only those who have them are ignorant of this fact. That it is the very reason women are willing more than ever before to get a man in whatever form to settle down with especially if he has means. This may explain the above women’s fear of losing their positions in the respective households hence the starategy to prove their fertility in one way or another.
There is also another case of a man who by chance saw his ‘wife’ boarding a taxi to some slum and he stealthily followed her only to find that she was going for a quick fix at a student’s place. Apparently the two have a seven year old and another one who the man’s relatives claim they are not sure is his. The student pleaded with the captors not to put him in the newspapers and his defence was that he had hired the woman’s services to get him her friend but instead she opted to prevail over him to accept her instead. It is a cruel world my friend.
As I muse over these stories, I am quickly reminded that we should never laugh at other people’s predicament because ours could come in a worse version as was cleverly put forward by the Man himself when he dared those who had never sinned to cast the first stone.
Cheers y’all,
Deox
