oh no u didn’t?

Just as I was getting the hang of this blogging phenomenon, my internet was disconnected before my very eyes. It was the only thing I had to look forward to at work. So I say to the person who did this to me, SERIOUSLY?????? What did I ever do to you? Today is my dad’s 54th birthday. He’s not a blogger, but I’m sending him a big shout out anyway. Happy Birthday Dad! God Bless you.  I have the constant need to scream these days. And not in a good way. Ok, atleast since Monday. But like I said, optimism is the way forward for 2010. The other morning I was sitting in a taxi and a mad man entered on the passenger side. I didn’t actually realise he was mad, ’til I saw how all the other passengers were reacting to his presence. The conducter demanded that he pay his fare before he sat. He did. The person next to him immediately jumped out of the taxi. We moved on. The next stop, someone realises they can’t sit next to him, he jumps out. And the next, and the next. The conducter thereafter realises that having this man in the taxi is going to cause more harm than good, and he chases him out of the car, offering him his money back. Everyone got a good laugh out of this, especially at the reactions of the dramatic prospective passengers, but personally I thought it was sad.Granted, I probably would have jumped out as well had he been seated next to me, but then again, he wasn’t bothering anyone, what was he supposed to do, walk all the way to the city? Such is life, I guess. My lunch break is over, so it’s back to the drawing board for me. ‘Til next time. Peace, T.
