Do you believe in miracles?
How can you not? When miraculous things happen around us all the time, how do we dismiss them so trivially? I know I believe. Not when I got stuck in a train station in Singapore and a stranger took me in a cab and paid for it too. I didn't know him but he seemed stuck too and so we made our way together but I had no money and without asking he took care of it. I believe God placed him in my way to show me the miraculous. Thank you Hwan, God richly bless you.How can I not believe in miracles when everything I pray for, I get an answer that is totally unexpected and yet bigger than I could have imagined? How could I not? When the ATMs were not working and I took time out to get into my 'prayer closet' and after my time with Him I got money out I didn't even know I had. Miraculous happenings, not coincidence. And how can I not believe in miracles when I know that the God I serve has a sense of humour and desires to make Himself known to us? When I am waiting for the ATM to issue money I knew I didn't have but is in my account and the quote they show is 'The most astonishing thing about miracles is that they happen' Gilbert K. Chesterton, famous English author and mystery novelist. You don't believe me? I googled him just to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Yes, I not only google random men who hand me their business cards, I also google to make sure God's really working. Check it out for yourselves if you don't believe me. How can I not believe in miracles? I have seen them happen. One after another. They cannot be mere coincidences, they happen.I know that for the past week or so I have been getting answers to my prayers but exceeding, abundantly, above anything I could ever ask or even think. Do you believe in miracles? Do you believe in a healing God? I know He touched my body and my disease is gone. I know He has kept to His word where he says, '. . . yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread' (Psalms 37:25). I have had a roof over my head against all odds, I have been fed and sometimes too full to walk, I have not gone begging bread because I have a righteous mother. Well, a mother who prays and keeps me in her prayers. Never underestimate the power or a mother's prayer! I have seen God's miraculous ways, how can you not belive? I know that I believe.
