Untitled Breast Picture

I wrote about cleavage last time, and then today I got inspired to draw this. (Actually, it was more about my attempt to outlast a headache I woke up with, but I have failed; I shall be going for a rest after here. When I’m awoken too suddenly, as by a phone call, my head hurts until I finish up my sleep quota.) All the same, here is an untitled work. (You should suggest titles!) I did this one with MyPaint, and I swear I’m about to replace all other drawing tools. This thing lets me work. It just gets out of my way and lets me paint as I want; providing support rather than government over my work. I like. This one is shrunken; get the full glory of Her over here. I drew it in shades of grey, because my model is surprisingly hard to draw in living colour. I fucked it up last time. And anyway, black-and-white (no pun intended) is less controversial than colour (as in “people of color”; no pun intended). Pun intended. As for the position of the picture ? well, I draw from memory. You see the attempt to create sharp contrasts (as would occur on a slightly-sweaty body)? You see the attempt to put more gravity on one breast (Her left one), versus the other partially-supported one, which stares back with a kind of immodest, one-eyed cyclopic provocativeness? I see things like these from above, many times. I draw from memory. Connect the dots. The miracle is that I remember anything at all. Now, my headache is bad. I need to take a rest. [Update: I’ve failed to sleep; I still have my headache. Surprise(] Comments: 9
