Sleep is for the weak. Real men sleep at dawn. posted on September 22, 2011 - 4:24am
My friends have warned me how I will  finally pay back. How I am destroying myself. That my actions will catch up with me. Apparently I am cheating nature. And my crime??? I spend many more hours awake at night  than asleep. Maybe its a risk I am willing to take. I just enjoy being awake when the world is asleep. But my friends have been  telling me to stop the habit. I know I suck when I wake up tired every morning due to sleeping at dawn.
I enjoy having conversations where nothing is said. posted on September 12, 2011 - 6:56am
My thoughts tend to sound better in books I didn’t write. At times I find that pictures and images do describe a moment in the most perfect way – shame I lost my camera so cannot take many great shots with my phone (will try and replace it soon).
Career Change posted on August 17, 2011 - 6:10pm
From the time I completed university in June 2006, (its August 2011 as I write this Post), that is almost 5 years ago, I have been a coder – developing web based applications.
I have been in the web business for about 5 years – since 2006. I was smuggled into web development when I joined one of Uganda’s oldest webhosting company – Uganda Home Pages. I joined as a web programmer. I must admit that it was there that I started the road into web development and I have never looked back. Now I run my own Web Development Company – Hosting Smiles (where we host only and only happy clients – anyone not happy with our service is free to go).
Challenges in Freelancing, posted on March 24, 2011 - 6:17am
I have been quiet for some good time. I am back. And I am happy to share some of the challenges that have kept me down for this entire long.  At least I can share them. The road has not been smooth. No.  But who said it would be any? The challenges that I have encountered are below. My solutions may not for you but I will share them anyway. Feel free to comment and add your views. 1.  DistractionsI happen to stay in a neighborhood that has other people. The children at times really make lots of noise as they run along while playing. I love kids so I am always happy when they shout and run around but being the introvert that I am, the noise and the movements always distract me. I love to work in a quiet environment. I always move to a café in town – we have many cafes that give a very conducive environment for fellows like me. Café Pap in town is one of them. 2.       Easy lane kind of life – so people think

To many freelancers, a weekend is a normal working day. In traditional employment or what most people call corporate employment or formal employment, most people work from 9:00AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday.

Hmmmmm, I am really slow  on this. But looks like everyone is  busy making New Year Resolutions. Truth is that I am so excited about this year. I have never been excited about any year in my entire life as I am excited about this one. Lots of expectations. Lots to achieve. Lots  to do. And ohhhh, the resolutions. Well, I have just one. Yes, just one indeed.
Merry Merry Merry Xmas.... posted on December 26, 2010 - 1:25pm
Merry Merry Merry Xmas, not sure how you have spent this feastive season. I managed to go to church on the real day - xmas day.I really used to like Xmas as a kid. I guess we all did. Now as an adult, nothing much is thrilling any more. Nothing much. Yes, I still love the Christmas trees, I have decorated the one in the pic on the left, and I hope I will decorate all trees with my kids. I love the carols too. My favourite is "When a  child is Born" not sure who was the original composer but its just a classic.

If you are like me and think about the future – especially what kind of life you would like to live say maybe 20 years from now – will you still be working for the same company that you are working for or doing the same thing that you are doing
