So, starting with baby steps.... what better way than politics? :DSo we had elections and everyone was getting all up and tight about Museveni going in for another term. And I, mostly to rile people up, I’d say I was going to vote Museveni. And it did rile people up. Mostly people thought I was going to vote for Museveni because of my tribe. Apparently him being in power means I am well off. While yes, corruption has led to an economic boom in the Western region of Ugandan, I don’t think that’s all of it. The rest of the picture involves a man who knows how to get what he wants.

I’ve got a ton of reasons for why I’ve been gone. cough, cough, ahem, ahem.Sooooo,1. Final year attempted to be the death of me last year

Funny things drive you back to old haunts.....pause for you to think of funny things. yes my brain is a little more than rusty with the verbosity. you'll have to help me for a little while....for me, it was being backed in to the back corner of taxi by a bangladeshi soldier on leave from peacekeeping efforts in D.R.C. a pretend husband and pretend pack of rugby built brothers couldn't chase him off. it is hard telling a man no when he doesn't understand English very well although he thinks he does. even harder when the other passengers are laughing at your plight openly, and discussing loudly in luganda. So much for backbone!

I once forgot to turn my phone off on a plane. I realized this as the captain welcomed us, and told us to remain in our seats until the seatbelt light had gone off. That’s when I usually pull out my phone to turn it on. It already was. People who have to be right amuse me. People who have to be right and then deny having to be right amuse me even more. They’re the kind of people, patience was made for.

Hi, My name is yz and I am Blogcked. They told me if I admitted I had a problem, it would be the first step to recovery. I would be leaving planet denial and embarking on an adventure of promise. They didn’t tell me the other steps. I didn’t think to ask till I admitted I was blogcked and by that that they were gone. I thought about googling these mystery other steps. Then I realized if I did I’d leave this post window, empty and blank ( mocking me!) and be too shamed to drag my rear parts back ever again. No seriously. So I’ll just sit here even though I have been sitting on this chair so long that aforementioned rear parts hurt...No! I must be strong. I will stay and finish this misfit of a postOkaaaay, Soooo

How I learnt... about PMS posted on March 22, 2010 - 5:16pm

(In an attempt to blog more I am introducing a How I learnt Series. Let’s see how this goes)I was 9 when I learnt about PMS for the first time. It was the rainy season. The kind of season that lower primary school children find useless because break and lunch are officially limited to places that offer cover and school is actually about…you know school.

Tips and Tricks for the ignorant posted on March 15, 2010 - 4:28pm

You would think that most guys know these things but apparently I am wrong. And so, in an effort to save you and your victims I present a few tips.If you are a guy, you like this girl and you’re in a bar cradling a beer when said girl walks in,

  1. Don’t steal a kiss when she offers a hug. Even if it’s from her cheeks. It is just weird.

If 3 hours later, she walks into the same bar where you happen to be, again, and your blood alcohol level has increased in direct proportion to the amount of time passed,

Hello Blogosphere! Howzit? I see people are giving into the blogcks. Not me! I promise. I’m here. Just trying to get all my chicks in order, trying to get the life rearranged, beating down the homesickness to bearability, attempting to balance this ridiculous course load. How can I have only four classes and spend 6 days at school?! And I have group work in every single class. Please raise your hand if you think group work is fun. My hand is not raised. I have so much work that I only have two complaints about the South Africa:
