the masai outfit posted on July 23, 2009 - 1:32pm

kati there is this function that has to be carried out before i join another family. a traditional function ofcourse. i fancy unique things, and the uniqueness isnt from the item itself but one woould least expect me to use it at that moment.
the masai outfit was born like that. i managed to get the masai bead work, head gear, necklace, and some.i put on the simplest dress ever tailored and i didnt care what the world thought coz i was totally impressed with myself.
when it was time to get out of the house, i could see jaws dropping in amazement. i did some thing that maynot have been agreeable and i pulled it off. that outfit gave me so much satisfaction, i walked confidently to my groom and put that ka thingie, they put on the coats and walked back unfortunately to a mat not a chariot with horses as i had dreamed. hahahalol.

pimples….. posted on May 19, 2009 - 3:48pm

i dont know what it is about weddings that stresses so much. maybe its because “under no circumstances can a wedding be repeated.
i have this problem, ever since i decided to get married, i got these pimples on my face like some vendetta aimed at making me ugly.
i have not put any thing new to my face, just the same old vaseline and shea butter that i have always used but there is no improvement
i dont want to do any facials, i believe that these things that we introduce to our faces especially in this time coupled with the stress only serve to make things worse.
so far i have managed to keep off facials but looks like i may succumb to them. facials do work no doubt but at this moment the body cant let one work with it mainly because of the stress hormones in the system.

I’m hurt posted on May 11, 2009 - 12:17pm

maybe i should or maybe i shouldnt. never the  less, im hurt.
so i get to work this morning and guess what, my office has been reduced to this shoe box, and lots of cabins and files hovering in my space.
let me tell u how it begun, this year the institution i work for decided to transfer admin to finance and marketing shares an office with finance. so finance’s numbers grew bigger and they had little space to accomodate the new sub department.
because they were more, we were told that marketing space was going to be reduced and they even showed us the extent of the reduction and we agreed.
this expansion cum reduction was done over the weekend and guess what, they expended way beyond what we had agreed and that is why my morning hasnt been good.
im hurt because they didnt keep there word and now my office looks like an inflated match box.

will you be my valentine forever? posted on February 10, 2009 - 6:55pm

continued from last post…..
Step 3.
A picnic basket filled with delicious fingers foods that are perfect for feeding to each other comes next. Since you are setting this up in advance and don’t have to worry about carrying it to an outdoor venue, any kind of basket or decorative box will work fine. Remember to include a tray, plates, and any utensils you might need.
Step 4.
Set up your wine or champagne close to your food basket. Include the appropriate glasses, wine cooler, and ice bucket
Step 5.
Music will help set the mood. Making your own romantic play list ahead of time is ideal, so that once you hit play and you are set for the night.
Step 6.
Lastly, make sure you add a few special Valentine décor elements. This should include as many candles as possible and of course, no romantic setting would be complete without flowers.
i guarantee that both of you will be lucky that night.

valentine. posted on February 10, 2009 - 6:42pm

Isn’t it wonderful that Valentine’s Day is in the middle of the winter? It’s such a great excuse to shut out the rest of the world and create a sanctuary where you and your loved one can reconnect. One of the most romantic ways to do this is by creating an indoor Garden of Eden. While this can be put together at the last minute, the more prepared you are ahead of time the better it will be in the end.
Here is a list of items that will make for a smooth romantic evening set in your very own Garden of Eden (fig leaves optional).
Important elements:
Picnic basket
Blanket
Oversized pillows
Plants
Flowers
Candles
Champagne or wine
Ice bucket
Glasses
Music
Sensuous finger foods

realise Lyrics
[V1:] Take time to realize,
That your warmth is. Crashing down on in.
Take time to realize,
That I am on your side
Didn’t I, Didn’t I tell you.
But I can’t spell it out for you,
No it’s never gonna be that simple
No I cant spell it out for you
[C:] If you just realize what I just realized,
Then we’d be perfect for each other
And will never find another
Just realized what I just realized
We’d never have to wonder if
We missed out on each other now.
[V2:] Take time to realize
Oh-oh I’m on your side
Didn’t I, didn’t I tell you.
Take time to realize
This all can pass you by.. Didn’t I tell you
But I can’t spell it out for you,
No its never gonna be that simple
No I can’t spell it out for you.
